Purchase: I purchased the black Wintec Chafeless Girth in the 44 inch size from an ebay seller janetcbaird_horse for $42.00 plus shipping of $6.75

Likes: The Wintec Chafeless girth has a nice give to it. The manufacturer says it stretches, but I found it more of a give, than a stretch. It is constructed from a nice breathable waffle weave material that not only cushions and gives, but can be hosed off making it easy care. The girth has roller buckles that make it easy to girth up. The Wintec Chafeless girth is designed in such a way that it swoops inward at the elbow and reduces the chances of girth galling or pinching. Even though I had my girth done up fair loose, the saddle held in place and did not offer to slip or roll on my very round table top back horse.

Dislikes: There was absolutely nothing that I did not like about this girth. Just wish I'd have had the foresight to have purchased a couple of them in different sizes to accommodate both of my horses.

Quality: The Wintec chafeless girth is well constructed and of high quality. I found no sharp, or rough edges, it is lightweight, and easy to attach to the billets of my saddle. As girths go it is probably middle of the road in cost, but top of the line in quality. Great value for the money.

Summary: The bottom line is if you like to ride english, this is a nice little girth for your all purpose saddle. Use it, love it, hose it off, and then love it all over again.
