Purchase: I bought this from the manufacturer since no one within about 5 states carries it. It runs $36.95 for 20#, not bad.
Likes: We used the cocosoya oil for a few years on our endurance horses and broodmares, so I thought to try the Omega 3 for our now 23 year old stallion who we have been fitting back up for a few LDs and our 22 year old Jackhammer of a mare who apparently thinks she still has a career as well. Well, she is STILL a jackhammer, but we completed our first 25 miler in over 4 YEARS, after the shattering of My ankle, and the vet said she SHOULD have gone 50 miles - would have killed me! XLNT packaging, reusable buckets! Eases the stiffness in their joints, xlnt hair coat, and it is SO PALATABLE, I am waiting to see if they make it for people - I may have to use the horses' t make some cookies for us, it smells SO GOOD - just like gingerbread. Top notch product for a working horse - or human!
Dislikes: It is inconvenient and expensive to ship, but there is no other way to get it. One would have to buy about a 6 month supply to save on shipping - or open a feed store. I thought about it....nothing else to say that is remotely negative.
Quality: Excellent packaging, nice, heavy grained powder form is SO easy to feed, they gobble it up and it does not sift to the bottom and get lost like others, and not messy like liquids.
Summary: This is a unique product, and the only thing I wish is that is was not so tough to get, so expensive to ship. There are just a handful of products that continue to be effective with our old horses, adult campaigners and our broodmares as well, and this is one of them.
