Purchase: I purchased these boots for $59.99 on sale through Dover Saddlery. It was the beginning of the year clearance. I think the regular price is $79.99. I desperately needed some new boots for the new year because my other Ariat Terrains were worn out after 2 years of HEAVY USE.
Likes: I got the Rebel Russet brown ones and they are NICE! They are EASY to clean and are VERY COMFORTABLE in and out of the saddle! I also like the low price ;)
Dislikes: At first, the boots felt uncomfortable on the top of my foot, like there was something hard on the inside top tongue. I later tried them on and wore them in the house for hours and they seemed to break-in and NOW they are as comfortable as ever! I'm glad I kept them, I was almost going to send them back because of that one thing, but you just have to wear them and break them in for a little while. They are not waterproof.
Quality: The construction is sufficient. They have nubuck leather uppers and are lace boots. They come in the mail already laced up for you to wear. They have tough rubber soles and are EASY to clean. They have the ATS System and gel in the footbed. They also have GOOD arch support and prevent foot fatigue. They are NOT waterproof though.
Summary: I would recommend these boots for the spring/summer. These are NOT waterproof and are not for mucking stalls/wet weather. They are mainly for riding in and walking/going out in.
