Purchase: I bought these boots from Smartpak for $160. I wanted tall boots that would be warm enough for winter and that would also hold up to the "winter muck" we get in Ohio.

Likes: Everything! These boots are extremely warm, yet not bulky. They use a thinsulate liner. I wear them in very thin tall boot socks and my feet and lower leg are always plenty warm. They also have the Ariat ATS Technology footbed, which is very comfortable. I can spend 8 hours in these boots and still be extremely comfortable. I also love how they are in the saddle. They've got nice grip on the inside, due to a suede pad (like one you'd find on half-chaps).

Dislikes: Honestly, nothing. I wouldn't change a thing about them.

Quality: These boots are very well-made and durable. They are made of scratch-resistant leather. Being the curious cat I am, I tried scratching them with my fingernail and I couldn't no matter how hard I tried. I've had them through a full winter of hard wear now, and they still look brand new.

Summary: I would recommend these boots to ANYONE. They're a really great product.
