Purchase: I got this helmet at equusnow.com for around $76 plus shipping. I wanted to upgrade my old model sportage.

Likes: everything. It fits really snugly and cradles your head. The lining is more like a show helmet then a schooling helmet. The straps are well made and part of them is encased in leather. It has matte finish unlike the original sportage that has a shiny finish. When riding it does move around and it feels very secure. The lining is very good at wicking away sweat.

Dislikes: it is bulkier then the original sportage but i don't personally mind it. It has more padding therefore it is bulkier. it looks a little funny but again i personally do not mind it.

Quality: tipperary's best yet. it is really well made and a provides excellent protection. this helmet is a serious schooling helmet and covers all bases. everything on the helmet is really well made and tipperary did not cut corners at all.

Summary: i personally like this way better then the original sportage as it has more features and i think provides better protection. this helmet is better for people who ride a lot of horses every day or for someone who rides several days a week since it is expensive for a schooling helmet for some people. In my opinion it is not really worth it if you only ride once or twice a week. I personally feel that this new sportage was tailored to serious riders and not people who take lessons once a week as it is on the high end for schooling helmets and has some serious features.
