Purchase: I got this saddle from tacktrader.com. I believe my mom paid around $750 for it. It was used but in nice condition. She then gave it to me and bought hers for $800 on the same website.
Likes: I LOVE my saddle. It does have quite a flat seat, which I personally like. There are no knee or calf blocks. It really makes you feel everything your horse is doing. After riding in a Pessoa (it's like a couch. hard to get out of, puts you in a weird position, etc) I am so grateful for this saddle!
Dislikes: There's nothing I don't like about it that is any fault of Beval. My seat bones get a little sore after riding for hours in it (I ride about 4 horses a day, everyday) but I would rather be a little sore and be able to feel my horse than sit in a couch-like saddle.
Quality: Leather is wonderful. Very supple and breaks in nicely, wears VERY well.
Summary: I definitely would recommend this saddle for people that like flatter seats and narrower twists. It's not a saddle that locks you into a position, you have to find it yourself.
