Purchase: I bought the saddle from horsesaddleshop.com. I paid $1695 for this piece of crap! First off, the saddle is a mile long. When I asked the guy how these saddles fit short backed arabs, he said they fit great. Perfect for what I'm looking for. I was a perfect sucker for what he was looking for. when my horse developed spinal bursitis because of this saddle his answer was call the company. I called the company and they said they don't guarantee the fit. I say the heck with Tucker and horsesaddleshop.com. They are the worst!!!
Likes: The color. Although the finish started waring off after 3 weeks of riding. Sent the saddle back to Tucker, haven't heard a word from them. Typical...
Dislikes: The saddle doesn't fit a horse shorter than a quarter horse. It weighs 26 lbs, I weighed it. The rigging sits so low that it actually puts pressure on the ribs of a wide chested horse.
Quality: Good construction. Leather is thick, slow to break in. The skirts cut into my thighs for at least 2 weeks. The stain comes off on everything. and wears through to plain leather.
Summary: This saddle sucks! Tucker and horsesaddleshop.com suck!!!!! Don't buy from these people. Get a specialized saddle.
