Purchase: My friend aquired this spray in a grooming kit a couple years ago. As we are now boarding our horses in the same 'rough board' barn, we share horse care shifts and supplies. A bottle of Rio Vista in a 32oz spray bottle will cost 12.99 @ Stateline Tack.
Likes: I say with joy in my heart that I have finally found a botanical fly spray that works. The first time I used it was a day thick with flies, the first real warm day of the year. I could hear them buzzing as I approached the horses in the paddock. After spraying them thoroughly with coat-so-soft, the flies were gone. REALLY! A few kept buzzing around, but would not land on the horses. Coat so Soft also lasts the whole day if you apply it thickly.
I also am pleased to say that it really smells like, and is nearly identical to 'Skin-so-Soft' for humans. It softens and shines up the coat too.
Dislikes: You do need to apply it thickly, but I suppose that's the case with any fly spray.
Quality: This is a botanical solution, without any pesticides or harsh chemicals.
Summary: If you are looking for a botanical fly spray, look no further!
