Purchase: I bought this half pad for $119 with the memory foam pad option from Victory Canter. I got it because my ProLite pad just wasn't quite right for my horse and I needed something more specific for his higher withers.
Likes: It looks to be very well made. My horse LOVES it, too. He seems much more comfortable with this half pad than his ProLite one. I like that you can play around with the correction pads to fit to the horse. Since it only has a pommel roll, this pad fits well under my saddle pad, AND it is JUST big enough for my huge 18" Isabell dressage saddle! Like the other ECP products, this is quality sheepskin and made to last, and COMFY! It has a contoured spine and you can remove or add the inserts as needed.
Dislikes: its a little pricey for me, but for what it is it was a very good price. I suppose I would have been happier if they GAVE it to me... but I'll settle for the sale price! heh.
Quality: Well made pad, seems like it will last a while! Soft quality sheepskin.
Summary: Definitely a good product! If you are in the market for a quality half pad and don't want to pay the price for a Mattes, this is a great choice! The Mattes correction pads are almost double the price of this one!
It has a contoured spine and you can remove or add the inserts as needed. I would definitely buy again if needed.
