Purchase: I bought this polish @ State Line Tack for $8.99. At a barn where I worked last summer, we used it on all the horses after every bath, and it kept their coats clean and resiliant, so I thought it would be perfect for this show season.
Likes: ShowSheen is an incredable dirt repellant. In my opinion that is its best quality. Mud and dirt are so much easier to brush off, and most of the time do not stain the coat after a recent application of ShowSheen.
It also makes a horse's coat very shiny and soft to the touch.
ShowSheen has a long period of effectiveness, (given your horse doesn't roll in a swamp or something), about 4 days.
Dislikes: You do have to use a considerable amount of it (since you need to massage it in for best results).
Also, I guess this isn't a big complaint, since to work it HAS to coat the fur, but as soft as it is, it does make it feel a bit plasticy.
Quality: Overall ShowSheen has quality ingredients, and has a nice scent.
Summary: For show season, ShowSheen is a must have.
