Likes: I used Performance Focus EQ on my reining mare who is spooky and distracted at shows especially. If she happened to spook at something before I went in the ring, it was 10Xs worse. This product worked like no other calming supplement I tried. My mare was "focused" on her work, her warm up was short and sweet, didn't have to "lope her down' for an hour before showing. No fretting, no drama. She put her head down, guided without any looking off, she was responsive when I asked for speed and came back to me softly when asked. I won't be without this product. It is natural and show legal. This product is the next big thing for show horses. It's very palatable.
Dislikes: I can't say anything about the product that I disliked. My mare has a tendency to flip her bucket and/or not eat well at shows so instead of feeding it to her over her food at shows, I mixed it with water and syringed it into her mouth to make sure she got the whole dose. It's worth the minor inconvenience though.
Quality: It comes in a powder. One ounce over the daily food. Easy.
Summary: This product not only works with amazing results, it is a great training tool for young horses just starting to haul to shows. It helps them adjust to the new stuff and have a positive experience. I have friends with Arabs and it even works on the silliest of Arabs and OTT TBS.
