Purchase: I bought this saddle used from a tack store in Michigan. I paid $900 for it. I needed a saddle that could accommodate a growing filly.
Likes: This saddle is very comfortable and puts the rider in the correct position. I have adjusted the saddle with the easy change gullet system already. This is a wonderful feature to have for a growing horse. My filly really seems comfortable in this saddle, rounds her back nicely, and really moves out.
Dislikes: It is difficult to line up the outer screw when changing the gullet system. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Quality: The construction and quality are fantastic.
Summary: I love this saddle and would not hesitate to try any of Bates' other saddles.
Usefulness Rating: 1.66667 out of 5.
