Purchase: I have a 26 yr old retired broodmare with arthritis. I have used this product successfully. MaxFlex has an alfalfa base and is a crumble which makes it easy to mix with feed. I purchased this item at Sergeant's in Hockley, TX. Prices run from $26 to $38 in catalogs.
Likes: My mare willingly eats this product. She has turned her nose up at several other joint supplements, many have an odor or bad taste and she will eat around them or just leave it behind. It won't help her if she won't eat it! I also supplement this product with MSM (for inflammation) and my mare seems less stiff.
Dislikes: Really nothing..except it's not readily available everywhere.
Quality: Comes in a plastic jar w/ it's own scoop, easy to store and stays fresh.
