Purchase: I recently bought this like-new saddle on Ebay for $96 (score!!). A friend has been riding in one and raves about how comfortable and light it is. After years of lugging my really heavy roping saddle onto 16 hand horses, I needed something lighter and really comfortable. After trying hers out,I decided to buy one for myself.
Likes: It is VERY comfortable, which is great since I have tailbone issues. It's also very light weight, but well made, and easy to clean. It's a nice looking saddle.
Dislikes: The plastic stirrups are tacky. I will probably replace them with something better looking at a later date. I am also still experiencing some knee torque, but no worse than with my leather saddle. The light weight fenders should take to 'training' with a broomstick, but I haven't tried it yet.
Quality: Overall the quality is excellent, though not quite the same as a well made leather saddle. For the money, it's a very good saddle.
Summary: This is a very comfortable, light, saddle that is easy to care for. Good quality at an affordable price. If you like to trail ride or just pleasure ride, and don't want a heavy saddle with the upkeep of leather, I would highly recommend a Wintec.
