Likes: I simply adore the leathers, they're just the right size, just the right thickness. I bought them used but you can hardly tell. They're supple, clean easily, adjust easily, ride great and look great... though the color is a tad odd.... a little ashen.
Dislikes: They're tearing up my County dressage saddle! I don't get it. I bought them as they're calfskin and meant to be soft on good leather, but they are shredding my favorite saddle. There's a raised nap I have to oil down on the panels after every ride. I'm afraid to use them on one of my newer saddles. I don't know if its that my County is 20 something years old, or what, but its alarming at this point how much scuffing they are doing. Perhaps they're not meant for dressage saddles? Perhaps I ride oddly? I dunno, but I'm almost ready to take them off.
Quality: Superb quality.
Summary: I love them. I just wish they loved my old dressage saddle as much. If they weren't causing such noticeable wear, I'd give them a 5.
