Purchase: I was looking for a half pad to use infrequently on my mare so didn't want to spend a fortune. I had always liked the quality of Cottage Craft products, so decided to order a half-pad from them. They retail for around $70
Likes: The quality of sheepskin is GREAT. The pad is contoured and fits well under my saddle. There is a billet velcro thingy so you have the option of using just the half pad alone.
The sheepskin pad is the most luxurious that I've felt, I place it well above the Mattes and Christ pads.
It is also an economical pad, costing $70.
It also has a spine-free channel, so you're not adding bulk where it's not needed.
Dislikes: The only thing I can find wrong is that it is not as thick as some other pads.
Quality: Extremely well made. I don't have a single complaint. I now use it every time I ride on my new gelding.
