Purchase: I got this pad at the Diamond Wool saddle pad store in Woonsocket, RI for about $50.00 to compensate for my new horse's higher withers.
Likes: This pad is great! I love the 100% merino wool fleece backing and the fact that the wool is breathable. Helps my saddle fit better and avoid a sore back.
Dislikes: Slightly big for my 17.5" Bates CC saddle, so it wouldn't be a good show pad. Works great for schooling, though!
Quality: High quality, I always use a thin pad underneath to help keep it clean and it still looks brand-new! Good price too!
Summary: This half pad is a great alternative to more expensive pads from Beval, etc. and works just as well. I'd definitely recommend it!
