Model: Pro Jumper
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle at a local tack shop for $950.
Likes: The saddle is really comfortable, my medium tree fits everything I've had it on from welsh ponies to thoroughbreds, and never had the slightest fitting problem. It's really comfortable and the leather is like butter. I've never sat in another saddle I like better. It's survived the year and a half I've had it (being dropped four or five times) in great condition. The seat is forward enough for jumping, but you can hold a 3-point or do dressage work just as easily.
Dislikes: I have heard a complaint that the pommel is too high for comfort - but my trainer and I both love it. (I don't believe anyone but the three of us have sat it in.) The color will rub off, especially if you don't buff off darkening oil. However, this hasn't been a big problem for me.
Quality: Great leather, saddle stands up to a lot of wear and tear. Stitching is on the high end and construction is perfect.
Summary: GREAT saddle.
Usefulness Rating: 0.5 out of 5.
