Purchase: I purchased these via special order from Blue Haven Stables in Merrill WI. I think I paid $100 for the boots and I bought the matching half chaps to go with for an additional $85 not including the special order fee.
Likes: Overall they are wonderful quality. I love the light feeling of them in the summer and the way they match up with the chaps. I also love that they don't track manure everywhere. I also love the slightly more "sporty" look.
Dislikes: I bought these when they first came out over a year ago. The zippers NEVER stay up. I have very small narrow feet and when I zip them up, they are even tight on the front of my foot/ankles with thinner anklet socks on. Which is weird because then in the sides of the ankle and toward the back of the foot and ankle it's looser. The sides are actually wearing out where the chap elastic goes over the boot a little bit. I train horses and am an instructor so I am on my feet all day & they're not comfortable to stand in for long periods of time, even if I'm doing something like cleaning the barn. I've had to put a heel support in as well as another insole just so that I can stand to wear them full time.
Quality: High quality, light airy leather with mesh lining. Reflective piping and a convenient zip up paddock style.
Summary: I know that some places no longer sell them but catalogs like Dover do but I hope they changed the zipper issue. I tried to return them but my local tack store wouldn't take them back because I special ordered. I even emailed the company a couple times & called about the possibility of warranty and no one ever responded to me. I love the overall design/concept and am happy they came out with them, but from now on I'm going to try to avoid Ariat Endurance products. It was very disappointing to have so much money wasted.
