Purchase: I purchased this saddle from Happy Horse Tack online, and I paid $1995 for it, a good deal considering most tack shops want over $2200 for the saddle.
Likes: I love this saddle! It is a close contact saddle, but it has a deeper seat than most conventional cc saddles, making if perfect for flatwork and jumping. Black Country makes each saddle as specified by the client, so I had mine made to fit my body type ( I am petite, and I needed short flaps), and I custom picked the leather type, color, etc. It is wool flocked, and it is very easy to have adjusted. My saddle went from fitting a very high withered horse, to a flatter withered horse, the saddle fitter had no problem with it at all. Black Country uses very soft wool which is nice for the horse's back.
The seat is very comfortable, and the leather is very durable. I love it!
Dislikes: Nothing, this saddle is a great purchase!
Quality: This saddle is very well made. The stitching is great, and the leather is soft and supple, yet very durable. It is much nicer than most saddles in this price range. I highly recommend Black Country saddle, they make a variety of different saddle for different types of horses and disciplines. I chose the Quantum because I like to event, and it is a great saddle for flatwork and jumping.
Summary: I am very happy with my purchase of this saddle. I think my horse is too!
