Purchase: I bought this cooler from Smartpak for around $50 last winter. Weather is unpredictable here, and my horse will occasionally come in wet & cold.
Likes: Love this cooler! The fleece material wicks the moisture away, and with the mesh on top, my horse dried in record time. The cooler looks great; the unique design always draws attention. It has a belly strap and a tail strap, so I don't worry about leaving him unattended with it for short periods of time.
Dislikes: The sizing is a little off. My horse was an in-between size, so I ordered a size up and the blanket is still a little small on him.
Quality: This is a sturdy cooler. I've washed it many times and it shows very few signs of wear. The hardware is strong, and with the belly straps, I don't worry about leaving him to do other stuff around the barn. My horse dried so quickly too!
Summary: A great cooler at a great price. It looks good and does its job well! Ordering one size up is probably a good idea though. Doesn't slip around and is very soft and comfortable against the horse.
