Purchase: I got these synthetic leathers with my saddle package. Normally, they retail for $59.95 Cdn.
Likes: These leathers are extremely strong, won't stretch and look great. The buckles have rollers on them to make shortening or lengthening your leathers easier and the adjustment holes are big enough that it's not a fight to change the length of your leathers.
Dislikes: Maybe it's because they're brand new and not broken in yet, but they create a bit of a bulge underneath my inner thigh when I ride. It became uncomfortable enough that I took the synthetic leathers off and used a pair of leather leathers instead, which created less of a bulge.
Quality: Excellent construction and quality. The leathers have a nylon core which won't break under stress. Wintec is a trusted name and makes great products. I own several Wintec items and am happy with all, except the leathers.. though as I said before, my problem could've been with the leathers not being broken in yet - not the leathers themselves.
Summary: A good product at a decent price.
Especially good for riders who jump / event / race as these leathers will not break or stretch.
