Purchase: After dragging my feet about the price, I gave in and bought this from Beval's website for $196.50.
Likes: I like that it is a sheepskin girth with leather overlay. It has a smooth leather with typical fancy stitching. I was getting sick of using the old nylon and sheepskin girths and I don't like the sheepskin sleeves that you can use either. They move around on my horse no matter how tight his girth is fitted. It's a beautiful girth, classic, and the color (carmel) matched my saddle perfectly.
Dislikes: I don't have any complaintes just yet, I'm sure they could have used a average quality leather and cut the price in half.
Quality: It's sheepskin with leather overlay. The elastic on the end is very strong, has not become to overstratch and sag after a years use.
Summary: This is a beautiful and quality girth. I don't like the nylon sheepskin girths, they are too thick and bulky. This one is giving you the look you need in the ring with the softness and comfort you need for your horse.
