Purchase: I bought this saddle used about a year ago. It is the best jumping saddle I have ever ridden in and other people in my barn ask to borrow it all the time! It provides terrific balance for the rider and is comfortable on the flat. The leather is obviously top quality. This one has subtle discoloration on the flaps, but only what you see on any nice used saddle. The saddle has the M tree and it fits a large Appendix horse who usually uses a M tree. She has average withers. It also works well for a MW horse with average withers, but the interesting thing about it is that the pommel shape allows it to fit a M width TB gelding in our barn with high withers. My saddle has wool flocking but Jaguar also makes some with another type of panel filling. The wool flocking seems nice and it can be reflocked by a saddle fitter.
Likes: -Leather quality.
-Balance on the flat and over fences.
-Ability to fit lots of different horses.
-Jaguar logo buttons are attractive and look classy.
Dislikes: I like everything about it. This one is the flat jumper model. I have a friend who rides in the deep jumper model and that one is great too.
Quality: Excellent soft but durable leather which seems to wear well. Nice blocks which are placed correctly to assist rider. Stitching has remained very good on this used saddle. Billets are high quality. I don't think this saddle will ever wear out.
Summary: Extremely well balanced saddle for rider and horses seem to like the way it fits.
