Purchase: I purchased these from Horseloverz.com for about $75.00. I chose them for their price and because they were low rise side zips. I also prefer breeches to NOT contain cotton.
Likes: The fabric is excellent. These are a poly/lycra blend which I love for durability. Stains do not set in this fabric and it doesn't pill like cotton blends can. The fabric LOOKS like an expensive cotton twill and is very classy looking. The breeches are well tailored and cut to be fitted. The fabric is substantial and does not reveal every figure flaw, which is awesome! The traditional front pockets are functional but do not look lumpy as many of my other show breeches do that cost many times more. I am a bargain hunter at heart, and would buy these many times over.
Dislikes: If they could make them without velcro ankle closures, they would be absolute perfection! Velcro ankle closures are just bulky and totally ineffective. My ankles are always way smaller than the smallest the velcro can reach, so it's just a lot of excess fabric wrapped around my ankle or lower calf. ANNOYING, but almost every brand does this.
Quality: Again, the fabric is great, stitching quality awesome, nice soft elastic waistband, grippy knee patches.
Summary: These are great pants at a bargain price. I have many times over been amazed at the quality and value of Ovation products.
