Purchase: I bought this saddle for about $400 off an eBay vendor. I ride trails and wanted an endurance-style saddle because of its light weight.
Likes: I like this saddle very much, especially for the price. I like the padded seat and my gaited horses move well in it. They have medium-wide backs. One has very low withers and this is one of the few saddles that doesn't roll on her. It has lots of D-rings for attaching gear.
Dislikes: I don't like the stiff knee-roll, which keeps me from easily lifting the skirt of the saddle to tighten the girth. In addition to the D-rings, I'd like to have some leather strings for tying a jacket or raincoat behind the saddle.
Quality: The quality is fine. Not super-soft leather but good for the price. For an inexpensive saddle, I am pleased with how well it has held up with regular use for over a year.
Summary: I am very happy with this saddle and recommend it to anyone who needs an economical saddle for trail riding. I can't give it a top rating because of the annoying knee roll and the fact that the leather isn't top notch.
