American Saddlery
Scalloped Runner
Barrel Saddles
Manufacturer: American Saddlery
Model: Scalloped Runner
Category: Barrel Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle from a catalog for $450. I bought it because I mainly team rope but was interested in starting to run barrels so I didn't feel the need put out a lot of money like I had on my roping saddles.
Likes: I like the scalloped skirt and the overall look of the saddle and it didn't take long to break it in. I think it was a good a deal because I got a good saddle for a reason able price.
Dislikes: The only thing I can say I dislike is that it was hard to train the stirrups.
Quality: I think this saddle has a good construction and the quality is very good for the price of the saddle.
Summary: I think this saddle is a good one to buy not only for the price but for the quality. I ride in it 2-3 times per week and after three years it still looks and feels good. Great buy!
