Purchase: I was intrigued with the ads for these breeches so I tried them on and bought these at the Horse Expo in Sacramento and paid a little over $200 for them.
Likes: I slipped these on before I bought them and LOVED the way they felt. They were supportive yet not constrictive. They were the dark gray zip up model and I loved the way they looked. I never rode in my full seats, because I hated the way they felt, but these felt AWESOME! I keep these for hunter paces and jumping lessons. I searched ebay and have since purchased two other pairs - although both of those are pull-ons that I wear for schooling. I love the perforated deerskin and the supportive fabric and "tummy" panel!
Dislikes: After I washed them the first time, the stitching below the zipper started coming out. I sewed them up easily, but I thought for a pair of $200 breeches, the stitching shouldn't be coming out! Since stitching them, I haven't had a problem. I also don't like that they are a little long on me. I am 5'4" and their is about 2 inches extra fabric at the bottom. I am going to borrow a serger and shorten them.
Quality: Construction is wonderful with over-stitched seams everywhere except under the zipper...the other two pull-on pairs are wonderfully put together.
Summary: Incredible breeches. I used to buy less expensive breeches, but I now ride almost exclusively in my FITS. They are wonderful. I wish they were a little less $$ but if you keep your eye out and look for store sales, you might be able to find them a little cheaper. Definitely recommend.
