Manufacturer: SRS Saddlery
Model: Paul Taylor Reining Saddle
Category: Reining Saddles
Purchase: I have been looking for a leather work saddle to use instead of my show saddle that was also nice enough to use as a back up for the show pen. I found this almost new saddle through a private party for $700, plus cost of shipping.
Likes: The close contact shape and balance of this saddle is great! The tooling is classy and leather quality is very nice. The fenders softened right away with neetsfoot oil. I'm also surprised that it doesn't weigh a ton, compared to my rough out saddle or show saddle.
Dislikes: The seat is a little hard for my taste, but could be because the saddle has not been broken in yet. No complaints with its mechanic or cosmetic looks!
Quality: Nicely built working or reining saddle. Has such a pretty shape and attention to detail in the tooling. Plus it fits both my horses.
Summary: Wonderful saddle for the money!!
