Purchase: I got these boots at a tack swap not even broken in for $150. They where not broken in yet. Maybe worn once or twice.
Likes: I really like the zip back. The zipper is easy to pull up and I can wear thick socks in the comfortably. They also have an elastic band on the back which stretches so the boots aren't too tight or too loose. The boots have these amazing treads on the bottom which keep your foot in the stirrup with out falling out. I like this boot overall.
Dislikes: They get dirty pretty easy and the treads on the bottom sometimes get rocks in them which makes it weird to walk. They also have no spur rests which causes the spur to rub on my ankle.
Quality: The construction and quality are amazing. I have yet to have a flaw (or see one) with them.
Summary: I am amazed with these boots. They retail at around $290 and are definitely worth the price. They are not big and bulky at all like some of the other mountain horse boots. I wear them strictly for show and lessons. I do not wear them for schooling or at home though.
