Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: Paid $1000 on ebay, which included the saddle, seat saver, girth, and some other goodies.
Likes: I can use the saddle on my sway-back wide paint mare. I can also use it on my Peruvian Paso who has a very short straight back. Used with the right saddle pad (VERY important!), it clears the spine and is very comfortable for horse and rider. It is not a deep saddle. I really enjoy how much I feel the horse's movement. I have read complaints about the saddle sliding, but have not had that problem.
Dislikes: The Torsion Endurance is awesome. But the saddle pads are expensive. My favorite pad is a Grandeur, made in Germany.
Quality: Very well made from good quality nubuck leather. I clean it thoroughly one every one or two months with Aquila leather cleaner. It looks great after the cleaning.
Summary: Great saddle for a hard to fit horse. Very comfortable. Fits my narrow Peruvian Paso and my wide paint mare.
