Purchase: I picked this up at a local tack shop for $23. I wanted to try to "clean" my suede half chaps before I gave up on them and bought new ones.
Likes: This products is meant to be used in the washing machine. Excellent instructions on the container. And it works!
Dislikes: Personally, I don't care for the scent. And it's a bit expensive (around $1/oz). But hey, it's cheaper than new half (or full) chaps.
Quality: UNBELIEVABLE! The half chaps look brand new. They were nasty- crusted with sweat and horse dirt from 5 years of training and trail rides. I didn't think I could ever get the suede clean. I'd always been taught never get suede wet, just brush off the dried grime- let's just say my chaps were a bit beyond this point. Even the inside of the calf where the suede was rubbed smooth looks new-nap has returned and no wear marks whatsoever.
Summary: Awesome product! I'll never have filthy chaps again. So easy to use, I'm not sure how I got by without it. Half chaps look new after I put boot trees on them and hung them to dry. I am still amazed...
