Purchase: I bought it at the local tack store for 21.95.
Likes: It does detangle the hair very well, quick & easy.
Dislikes: It works great at first, great detangler and very shiny. Over time though, the silicone is very drying on the hair. I have a Friesian with a very thick mane & tail, and after using this once or twice a week for a couple weeks, the hair just starts drying out and it looks terrible. I don't use very much, but it started to get very gummy like, I would use it one day and the very next day her mane and tail were kind of clumped together and starting to 'rope'. It looked like it had been weeks since she was cared for. I think it is ok for horses with shorter/thinner manes and tails, but it is otherwise just too drying. I need a much more 'conditioning' product for my horse.
Quality: No complaints here.
Summary: Not a good choice for thick/long manes.
