Purchase: I bought these boots at Saddlery Liquidators (Haymarket, VA) for about $80. I was looking for an inexpensive, but reasonable quality pair of field boots.
Likes: Because they are made of synthetic Equileather, they require absolutely no breaking in- I comfortably rode in them the first day I got them. This is different from many leather boots. I also like the fact that they clean up very easily, but actually do look like leather. And I like the fact that they have zippers instead of being pull-on. I LOVE the price!
Dislikes: The one thing that kind of bothers me about them is that they came with a crease in them down the front from how they were in the box. Even after stuffing them when I don't use them, I have had them for a year and a half and they still have not lost the crease. Also, they do not breathe very much.
Quality: These boots seem to be pretty well made- the only repair I have had to get on them is getting the top snap on one of them replaced. There are a couple small scratches on the feet from where my horse stepped on them, and one of the spur rests is coming off, but for $80, they have held up pretty well!
Summary: All in all, these boots are obviously not super high-end, but they are a good deal for your money!
