Purchase: I purchased this saddle after acquiring my first Australian Saddle and liking the riding style and position. Because of a bad back I wanted something lighter and the LongReach Endurance is only 13 lbs without irons. The saddle was purchase on Ebay for about $500 which is close to half what I would have paid new (bonus).
Likes: The weight is GREAT for people like me with back issues. The structure, though not as good as you would find in a $2000 saddle, is more than adequate and is easy to maintain. The girthing system is like english and any girth will fit (you don't have to get a special Aussie Overgirth).
Dislikes: The structure could be stronger in the 'Poleys'... otherwise, no complaints.
Quality: The unit is lightweight and the underside is a 'foam' that easily conforms to the horses shape The leather is soft and supple. The seat is 'suspended' so is very comfortable for long, long rides.
Summary: I'd buy it again for a good all round trail saddle. I would recommend it to anyone who needed a 'soft' ride and didn't want to 'sling' a hefty saddle.
