Purchase: I bought this saddle from our local tack shop . Brand new was $1000.00 .
It is a custom made saddle that was developed specifically for trail riders.
Likes: I love the comfort of this saddle , The saddle has soft cushion seating , is all leather , light honey color and beautiful tooling. I can ride in it all day and not get sore . Stays centered on my horses back.
Dislikes: The saddle is a little heavy , weighs 30 pounds and difficult to throw onto a tall horse . The saddle also comes in a lighter model that is only 20 pounds , but is not all leather .
Quality: Excellent quality workmanship , leather is soft and breaks in within a couple rides. Stays beautiful even after 2 years of riding in hard terrain.
Summary: I have bought 2 other Bar J saddles because they have a lot of D-rings to hook saddle bags and equipment and they Fit my horses well. I recommend this saddle to anyone who rides a lot of miles .
