Purchase: For my birthday about six months ago I was in the market for a dressage saddle. After many weeks of looking for a saddle that fit me and my high withered horse, I finally tried out an Isabel of my friend's. It was great, and my horse responded very well to the CAIR air panels. I bought it at Dover Saddlery in Chantilly, VA for $999.99.
Likes: I like everything about my new Wintec Isabel! My favorite part about it has to be the CAIR air panels because they are VERY comfortable for my bony, high withered thoroughbred. I also enjoy the equisuede, as I do not like cleaning tack very much. It keeps the slipping of a leather saddle from happening and is nice and grippy for sitting my horse's bouncy trot. The Y girthing system is also very good at distributing pressure, and it really prevents the back part of the saddle from bouncing. The deeper seat is secure, but definitely does not push you into position. The easy change gullet system was very easy to change and took only about five minutes in total.
Dislikes: There is not really anything that I dislike about this saddle. Oh, the equisuede does attract a lot of dust, but it is easy to clean.
Quality: A very well made saddle with correct tree construction, CAIR air panels that conform to your horse's back, and much much more! This saddle will last you a lifetime!
Summary: An overall great saddle that is attractive, well made, and quite comfortable! I would suggest this saddle to anyone in the market for an affordable dressage saddle that can be used on many horses, and will still last a very long time!
