Purchase: I paid about $200 for this from smartpak. I wanted a tough turnout blanket for my friesian cross gelding for the winter months in Wisconsin.
Likes: It's well made, very tightly sewn seams and reinforced straps. It's got a nice soft nylon lining and a tough waterproof outer shell. I like the high neckline and the lack of leg straps for the hind legs.
Dislikes: Haven't found anything to dislike about this blanket.
Quality: I think the quality of this blanket it very good. It's worn the tough play and frequent rolling of my gelding without a tear or any other damage.
Summary: This blanket is great. It fits my gelding's big neck and shoulders well, stays put on him, and looks fancy too! The medium weight is just warm enough (in WI even!) without being too warm when he's in his stall at night. I love that there are no leg straps to get tangled up or come undone and get stepped on all day. And an added bonus, not only is his coat clean it gets shiny and smooth and he looks great, even in winter. I'm very impressed with this blanket and would recommend it to anyone.
