Purchase: I recently purchased these from Dover for $75.00, they come 3 to a package. I have a horse that started head shaking due to allergies and had read about it in Horse Journal and in the Yahoo head shaking group I joined. England has done the most research on head shaking in horses and developed these nets over there. I was grateful Dover carried them as I wanted to get them right away.
Likes: I had tried the method of putting a nylon stocking over his nose but all he did was try to eat it. These nets are easy to use and shorten if need be. They come in different colors so they don't stand out. They are light enough and form fitted so they don't drape around or on the nose. I love the fact they are easy to put on or take off.
Dislikes: There isn't a single thing I don't like. My horse loves them so I love them. I guess 3 for $75.00 is kind of spendy but I feel the craftsmanship is there.
Quality: They are easy to put on they have little velcro tabs that wrap around the nose band and you can cut them to custom fit your size of hose. They come with darts so they form fit kind of like a fly mask.
Summary: If you have a horse that is head shaking they are worth a try. I would not have believe that they would have worked as well as they did for us. At first I didn't want my horse dependent upon the net since they can't be used in dressage in the US, but without the net he is unrideable. I am grateful I spent the money and they worked.
