Purchase: I purchased this product for $65 from sstack.com.
I fell for the manufacturers claims that this collar would work on horses other products hadn't helped. I also fell for the claim that this collar did not need to be applied as tightly as other collars.
Likes: To be honest, nothing.
Dislikes: This product does not, as the manufacturer claims, stop cribbing in horses other products have not stopped. It is certainly not, as the manufacturer claims, the last collar I will ever purchase, being that it does not work.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, it does not, as the manufacturer implies, work with less tension than other collars. Yes, it stays in place, but it does not discourage cribbing unless it is so tight that the horse has constant, high-level pressure applied to the larynx in any position except en exaggerated head down position. Imagine living you life with a fist rammed in you throat 24/7.
Quality: The materials and construction appear to be of good quality.
Summary: Don't waste money on this collar. Opt instead for the French style or, preferably, the Miracle Collar.
