Purchase: My husband bought these for me at a local tack shop about a month ago. I think they were on sale for 40% off of the suggested retail price. I had been complaining that my Cobalt Performer Paddocks were squeezing my toes.
Likes: These are SO comfy, almost like my Dansko clogs. I was concerned that the zipper would be too snug with my high arches and instep, but these boots fit perfectly! My toes are much happier. Boots still fit in my irons well, but they do feel a bit different than my old Ariat paddock boots. Sole has enough traction for barn chores, but not so much that you risk getting hung up in an iron.
Dislikes: So far, nothing. The heel might seem a bit high for some people, but I have no problem with it. I love the Ariat spur rest, but it is a bit too high if wearing Ariat's half chaps. Suggested price seems a bit high- these do not have the Cobalt system in them.
Quality: Zippers seem sturdy and leather seems to be good quality. I hope these last as well as my Performer Pro's did!
Summary: These are wonderful boots. They look nice and are very comfortable both on the ground and in the saddle.
