Purchase: I received this saddle for free from the woman I lease my horse from. At first I was ecstatic because I was upgrading from a "no-name" saddle, so seeing this saddle come out of the saddle bag was like a dream.
Likes: I really like the quality of the leather, and the seat is comfortable, not too hard. The balance is nice too, it is really great for jumping, but nice for flatwork too.
Dislikes: The leather on the seat is a bit slick. After riding on my friends Pariani, I realized just how slippery mine was. Also I would say the flaps are just too skimpy. My knees feel like if I don't keep thinking of putting them back that they'll ride up over the knee blocks. (and my stirrups are not too short, i actually ride with a pretty long stirrup for flat work) Just in general this saddle is very small, it just looks like a child's pony saddle, but its not!
Quality: I would say over all it is very well constructed. the leather is nice, and the balance is nice. though the knee blocks leave much to be desired...
Summary: Bottom line, i would say this saddle would be great for a teen or petite woman rider, for jumping mostly, because the saddle is just very, well petite.. But if you are looking for a saddle with a little more substance, security and longevity its probably not the saddle for you.
