Purchase: I bought this saddle from Trumbull Mountain on the internet. I paid around $2600.
Likes: I love this saddle. I got the standard block and it fit my leg perfectly and was not restrictive. The leather is of exceptional quality, and the comfort is supreme. I love the details (the silver leather keeper, suede inserts on inner thigh block and behind the seat)and overall it is an award winning design. I feel very secure, yet very connected to my horse and they move forward freely and use their back well. It is also nice that the gullet is interchangeable.
Dislikes: There isn't anything I don't like.
Quality: The quality is superb. You will not be disappointed with the construction of this saddle. It is beautiful.
Summary: This saddle serves the rider well in keeping you secure in the saddle, while still allowing close contact with your horse. I find it puts the rider in the ideal position and at the same time, it allows the horse to move freely forward and laterally as its design is excellent.
