Purchase: I purchased this pair of boots from Sheplers Western Wear (sheplers.com) during their holiday sale for $70, although they retail for $110. I wanted a comfortable but tough boot to wear to do barn chores in.
Likes: I love these boots. They fit very well, are comfortable from the start (no breaking in period) and are nice and warm in the cold weather. They require very little maintenance to look good. They are well worth the retail price of $110. A great boot to ride in, do chores, or wear around town.
Dislikes: There is nothing really that I don't like about these boots. I do wish they came with a steel toe though.
Quality: These boots are indestructible. The craftsmanship of any ariat product is superb. The leather is beautiful and stands up well to a lot of punishment. They take little maintenance to keep in good condition, just get any dirt/mud off with a brush or wet rag and rub on a little oil maybe two times a year.
Summary: These are great boots. The quality is excellent, and they are comfortable and functional. Well worth the price, but keep an eye out for coupons from places like sheplers as you can get coupons for 15-30% off regularly and that brings it from the retail price of $110 down to $70-90 which sweetens the deal.
