Purchase: I bought these at my local tack shop about a year ago, during one of their semi-annual sales. Everything was 20% off, so I paid only $80 for these shoes (retail price $100).
Likes: They're functional, durable, and comfortable. They can be worn for riding, but don't look like 'riding shoes'. I got a black pair, so they go with just about everything I wear -- whether I take them to the barn or not! They look great with blue jeans, which I wear often. I also think these are great shoes to wear while traveling, since the zip front makes taking them on and off (such as when passing through the security checkpoint at the airport) very quick and easy. They've also got reflective piping on them, so I always feel safe when wearing them while walking around at night.
Dislikes: They run just a little loose over the tops of my feet. But if I wear them with thick enough socks, they fit just fine.
Quality: Excellent. These have yet to let me down in any way.
Summary: These are among my favorite pairs of shoes in my entire wardrobe. Even though I hardly ever ride in them, it's nice to know that I can. You just never know when your other plans will change and you find that you can get away to the barn after all!
