Grand Prix
Adjustable Stirrup (adjustable with allan key)
English Miscellaneous

Manufacturer: Grand Prix
Model: Adjustable Stirrup (adjustable with allan key)
Category: English Miscellaneous

Purchase: Purchased Grand Prix Adjustable stirrup to try to relieve foot pain while riding. I wanted a wider footbed with an adjustable angle. Went to Greenhawk in Langley, BC (Canada) and was told different foot pads were available, purchase price was $140.00. I have since found out that the hard rubber pads that come with the stirrup are extremely slippery and if you have any mud/dirt on your boot the pad fills to create a solid surface making cleaning very difficult. If your boot gets slightly wet (for example while course walking)they become very slippery. I have contacted the supplier and was told that no other footbeds are available. I am not sure what I am going to do with these stirrups. Hoping my husband can make something that has more grip to it.

Likes: I like the wide footbed and adjustability.

Dislikes: Very slippery when wet or with a bit of mud on them. Mud/Dirt packs into the pad and is very difficult to clean.

Quality: Quality seem fine...have only ridden in a few times.

Summary: I would not recommend these to anyone. Far to slippery.
