Purchase: I bought these directly from bigbendsaddlery.com for $27.95.
Likes: They are quality plus leather. They came wrapped in paper and they had been oiled so well that the oil had soaked into the paper. Wow are they pretty. Definitly hand made. The holes for your mecate are big enough for a 5/8" mecate to fit. SOme of the cheaper slobber straps have tiny holes that just don't work.
Dislikes: It took a while to get these shipped to me, because they were made when I ordered them. But, the quality was worth the wait.
Quality: They are 4 months old and still look new. No warping, bending, discoloration, etc. The basket tooling is hand stamped and is very very good quality. Show quality for sure.
Summary: If you want nice slobber leathers that are going to last, buy these. You could get ones for a lot cheaper off ebay, but they will not have the details and the quality leather. If you show in reined cowhorse classes, these are show quality.
