Purchase: Bought online for $1230 + $140 shipping from a dealer in Wisconsin.
Likes: I have another Rocking R that I just love and this new saddle was another quality unit. Thick, quality leather and awesome workmanship, very nice hand tooling and basket stamp with lots of Montana silver. Even had a silver laced cantle.
Rides like a dream and looks wonderful on my horse. I love the position it puts me in and the deep pocket for security.
Dislikes: Nothing. Awesome saddle for the money. I have seen a few Rocking Rs around here and they are all beautifully made.
Quality: These saddles are all hand made and they look, feel and ride like it. Someone took a lot of care to make it and all the materials are first rate.
Summary: Now that I have two Rocking R saddles and I have seen what else I can get for the money, I would not hesitate to buy another saddle of this brand. Circle Y quality with more tooling and silver for half the money.
