Purchase: Found crest Ridge on internet. Talked to Debra several times and read reviews. Ordered direct from Crest Ridge.
Likes: The workmanship is excellent. Crest Ridge was able to fit me and my horse just by talking through the problem. I am 290 pounds, 6 ' 6" and my horse is 16+ hands. The saddle fits both us us perfectly.
The deep seat is very comfortable, I feel very secure in it.
Dislikes: There is nothing I don't like. However two comments:
1. It came with beautiful stainless stirrups which I replaced with the oversize "overshoe" stirrups due to me 13 EEE feet.
2. Turning the stirrups has been a project. The fenders and stirrup leathers are straight or "untrained" and they are really good leather, hence difficult to turn them. I'm getting there...
neither of these are complaints.
Quality: Excellent , top quality. I would say quality of material and workmanship probably can't be beat. I looked at the top end name brands and this is equal or likely better.
Summary: Worth the money and worth the wait. I think it took about six weeks from order to arrival.
