Purchase: Bought the saddle from a dealer. I have another Tucker High Plains I like and wanted the "Wade Tree" style for that cowboy look. Talked them down on the price and got the whole package (rear cinch set, headstall & breastcollar). $1750 out the door.
Likes: Love the look and set me very comfortable with only a slight feeling of putting you forward. Quality seems good and like the barbwire tooling.
Dislikes: I have not found a horse that it fits yet. We have tried 8 different horses. Short trips are fine, but any length and the poor design in the bars digs in and forms blisters on the horses. I sent it back to Tucker and they paid shipping both ways. They took it a part and put it back together and returned it to me. My black horse has nice white spots on his lower wither now. They discontinued this model now and I can guess the reason.
Quality: Nice soft supple leather that is superb. Tree design is probably the worst I have seen. It sticks out like a fist poking into the horse.
Summary: Great looks, just don't fit any gaited horses we have tried it on. Awful overpriced for something you can't put on a horse.
